Sandy Crab Sandwiches   - Wednesday 7-9-22

From St Erth Praze we ventured further west to Newlyn, where we purchased some fresh crab sandwiches. The sun had put in an appearance so we decided to go to Mullion Cove and have lunch on the beach. Not such a good idea, as it was a little windy, and crab sandwiches are much nicer without sand in them. Soon after we had finished them, the heavens opened again, so we beat a hasty retreat to the van, which was quite a way, so managed to get thoroughly soaked before we made it.

From there we proceeded to our stop for the night on a site near Lands End at Treen. As it was still raining, decided to forgo the planned trot down to the local pub and stayed in and watched a film.
The rain eased off in the morning, and we set off for our next stop at The Engine Inn, Cripplease.
